Elizabeth Poplin is the founder and teacher of Awaken Charlotte, a city-wide Bible study that brings together women from hundreds of churches across Charlotte, North Carolina. A frequent speaker at churches, conferences and retreats, Elizabeth is known for her engaging teaching style and for her passion to help women grow in their understanding of Scripture.

 

Additionally, Elizabeth is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health, and plans to work with women and teenagers to intentionally integrate faith and emotional well-being. Her heart for ministry is rooted in teaching God’s word and in walking alongside those who long to know Jesus more deeply.

She and her husband have been married for 25 years and they have two incredible teenage boys.
